How to use this site
- Read the sentences, and try to pick out as many words you know as possible
- If you think you know a word, you can tap it to save it as a known word
- Hover over words to see the meaning
- If you think you know the sentence, hover over the blurred text to check
- The more green words in a sentence, the more likely you are to be able to understand it
- If you understand a sentence, you can mark the save the whole sentence by tapping the ★
- You can also press the ★ if you know the sentence, but not each individual word
- Sometimes you will see words you have saved show up as black, this is because the same word can have multiple definitions. You might not know the word in the context of the sentence.
- On the right side of the screen, all individual words from the sentences (here in the left side) is displayed
- When you hover over a word, you will see the highlight. Sometimes you think you know a word but you might not, if it is part of another word. Consider 'boombox', you might know what 'boom' and 'box' means but when put together 'boombox' has a very different and specific meaning (it is a portable music player, btw)
- If you don't know a sentence, just skip it, refresh the page and get some new ones to read
